Run Their Calendar: Client Management and Organisation
Winners
Description
A big part of freelance and virtual assistant work is managing someone else's time, not just your own. Clients need their schedules organised, their meetings protected, and their time used well. This bounty asks you to practice that skill by building and managing a sample client calendar from scratch, the way you would for a real client.
Requirements
What you need to do
1. Create a new Google Calendar (or a clearly separate calendar within your own account) for a fictional client of your choosing. Give the client a name and a short description of what they do (e.g., "Aminata Kamara, Event Planner").
2. Populate the calendar with at least 10 realistic entries over a 2-week period, including a mix of: client meetings, deadlines, personal time blocks, follow-up reminders, and at least one rescheduled or cancelled event (shown clearly on the calendar).
3. Use calendar features properly: titles, times, locations/links where relevant, and descriptions for at least half the entries.
4. Take clear screenshots showing the full 2-week view of the calendar, plus one close-up screenshot showing the detail of at least one event (with description/notes visible).
What we are looking for
1. A calendar that looks organised and realistic, the way a working client's calendar would look.
2. Sensible time management (no overlapping meetings, reasonable spacing).
3. Attention to detail in event descriptions and structure.
4. Evidence that you understand how to protect and prioritise a client's time.
Deliverables
How to submit
Create a Google Doc, paste in your screenshots (full 2-week view and at least one detail view), and submit the link to that document on the Bounty platform before the deadline. Set sharing access to "Anyone with the link can view." Documents that cannot be opened or contain unclear screenshots will not be graded.
All submissions will be vetted against AI-generated content checks. Work found to be substantially AI-written or AI-generated will be disqualified
